Binding screws?

what if the screws dont reach all the way down to the bottom of the s***w hole? is that a bad thing or does it matter?

The s***w should not reach the bottom... if it does it would not be able to tighten correctly.  Just make sure that it has enough penetration to hold well: more than just few a threads.

I doesn't matter if they don't reach ALL the way, but you want them to be threaded in enough.

You don't want them to JUST make in to the hole either, otherwise your bindings will  loosen and maybe come off if you carve hard enough.
