Question:

Bio SAT II score??

I scored a 710 on my Bio SAT subject test after taking Bio. H as a freshmen. I was looking to tak it again after Bio AP. I am looking at top schools such as UCLA and Cornell. Can you give me some feedback?

- Is my score good enough?

- Should I take it again?

-What did you get and what school did you get in to with that score?

Thank you!!!

  1. a 710 is a bit low...you should aim for at least a 750.

I used Barron's SAT II Biology study guide. I found Barron's Biology book very useful because it was harder than the real SAT Bio test. If you can do well on the Barron's practice tests, you'll ace the real test with no problems. Princeton Review and Kaplan are pretty good too, but they're easier than the real SAT II bio test so I didn't feel as well-prepared with those books. Each person learns differently so just go to a book store and flip through Princeton Review, Kaplan, and Barron's study guides and see which one(s) you think would help you the most.

  2. A 710 is pretty good but it could definitely be improved. I would take it again after you take AP Bio, as that class will teach you a lot of the things that come up on the test.

I took it after my AP Bio class, and got a 780.

  3. that's a really good score!

but i took it after bio AP and it REALLY helped

many people in my class got 800's

    retake it
