Bio help! im stuck on this question PLEASE HELP!!!?

Question

When testing new medications on humans, scientists give one group of patients the actual medicine, while another group of patients receives a placebo. The placebo contains no medication. None of the patients know which they receive - real or placebo. Which group is the control group?

Okay thats the question, and im haveing trouble with it (yea i know its easy, butt im having one of those ditz moments)

I believe that the placebo is the control.

Placebo is the control as it shows the effect the patients have with no medicine, then they can contrast this with the real effects of the medicine. :)
