Bio major going into premed?

im a bio major going into premed, i took ap bio in high school and got the credit, should i transfer this or take the next class up . . . will this be ok with medical schools?

  1. Whether or not you transfer it to your university of choice is up to you, but it should be perfectly fine with med schools.

    You will most likely need quite a few bio classes to meet pre-med requirements, so if you do transfer it you'll likely be able to start with the next class up. If you don't, you'll probably be required to take Bio 101 (which would basically be your AP Bio) and it may be a waste of your time. But typical Bio 101 would be a prerequisite to Bio 201, so if you don't transfer your AP credit you'll likely be stuck in the lower class.


  2. It's fine and you will  be able to take higher-level courses as a result.
