2K games have announced that their latest game will hit shelves this October and Sony tease new games for the PlayStation Vita are on their way.
Starting things off with a game that many, many gamers have been looking forward ever since it was announced last year with a trailer that had everyone’s mouths watering, BioShock Infinite.
The game has been teased, announced, discussed and then teased some more, yet despite the fact that gamers have a gameplay trailer of the game as well, they are wholly unsatisfied with not having the game in their own hands.
The level of hype surrounding the game has been phenomenal and why shouldn’t it be, especially when the creative director of the game, Ken Levine, told the world that he has kept the ending of the game from his own staff.
Even the people working on the game do not know how the game is going to end and if the previous BioShock games are anything to go by, that is a good thing.
However, Levine was kind enough to give everyone a date to peg down on their calendars for the release of the game as he announced the release date for BioShock: Infinite. Gamers will have to wait until the 16th of October for the game to hit
shelves.
Levine stated, “After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition. BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
In other news, Sony are hoping to maintain interest in the PlayStation Vita and are set to announce a number of new titles next week.
The consumer electronics company is scheduled to hold a webcast next Friday where they will announce a number of new games with developers presenting the new titles themselves.
At the same time 20 fortunate people, who tune in, will be given a free PlayStation Vita, so that makes it two reasons gamers should check the podcast out.
