UK Biobank is a major UK medical research initiative, and a registered charity in its own right, with the aim of improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of serious and life-threatening illnesses – including cancer, heart diseases, diabetes, arthritis and forms of dementia. To do this vital work we need your help. We are now recruiting 500,000 people aged 40-69 from across the country to take part in this project.

  1. We had to say no because we have builders here and could not get away, but met a friend who had been. She reckoned it was very well organised. There were people coming and going all the time, but were not kept waiting very long. If you can help and have the time I would think it's got to be good, the information they collect will be helping others in the future and the way the world is going at the moment everyone will need all the help they can get.

  2. Looks legitimate, but I would not sign up.
