Biodegradable Items?

Question

What are some biodegradable items? I need to make something that is biodegradable, but am on a blank. I want it too be made of entirely biodegradable material. It can not be too easy, but I don't want it to be too hard either. Thank you to all who suggest things! :D

Bake a cake or make anything from foodstuff and it will biodegrade very quickly. Most natural products will biodegrade. It is the man made products like plastic that don't.

biodegradable material is one that has Carbon in it! That makes it and organic material which can be degraded by micro organisms!

The organic matter is not degradable? Go back to school and stay there ! :)

not all organic compounds are biodegradable............ if you're looking for something biodegradable to work with.... I have to agree with the other guy..... stick to the contents of your ref....

Degrade=decay or destroy

Hence biodegradable items are those items which can be converted or destroyed by living organisms. In another word, conversion of complex compounds into simpler forms. For example, if you put bread or leftover food in soil for few days, you will see that the foods are mixed with soil after decay. However, if you put a plastic or metal item, it will not decay and remains as such for long time. Hence, plastic or metal are not biodegradable items.
