  1. Glycerin doesn't contain even one ATOM of nitrogen in it.

Glycerin is 100% biodegrable and can be disposed of down a regular household drain.

  2. My preferred way of getting rid of it is to put it on a compost pile.  It has lots of nitrogen and will make a very hot compost pile.  You could purify it and use it as an artificial sweetener, or perhaps you could sell it to a make-up company.

It is not harmful when diluted, you could, if you wanted, flush it.  But that would be wasting it.  It is not like oil, it does mix with water.

  3. I doubt that glycerin has any amount of nitrogen.

    Nitroglycerin does, of course.

We should be able to vaporize it and suck it into a  diesel intake manifold. I have not tried that, however. It would have some energy value.

  4. They are right there is no nitrogen in it at all. You can get on to Wikipedia.com there is alot of possible uses they talk about there. Its not dangerous you can just apply it to the ground and it will degrade, or as they said you can pour it down the sink. glycerin is pretty easy to deal with and has alot of potential uses but when I make my Bio Diesel I just gather it up and land apply it.
