there is only 1 reciepe for virgin or waste oil.

methonal amounts stay the same ratio on a per gallon/liter basis.

the amounts of lye you use will vary, depending on the condition of the oil.

it's determined by testing the oil you have.

the test is called tritation.

For every gallon of vegetable oil, i throw in 2 shots of vodka. Blend it in the blender for 30 mins. Let it settle for 12 hours, and somehow get the white stuff that floats out of it. The clear stuff is biodiesel. If the oil was used, blend the biodiesel with water and a drop of dawn. Blend for 10 mins. Take great care to remove every drop of water.

I have personally used this recipe. It works.

If you have lye, add a teaspoon per gallon while blending. Do not use the blender again for food or smoothies after using lye.
