I know that Methane gas contributes to global warming, but biogas which mainly consists of methane gas and carbon dioxide is actually beneficial. Do you think the more biogas the biogas digester produce, the better for our fuel economy or is it the same ?

  1. Biogas is our future. It is eco- friendly and safe for human and also for environment.

Yes, you are quite right to say that methane is one of main "culprit" for causing global warming. Its long term use would be destructive to our environment and wildlife.

No doubt biogas is a solution, though we need to wait for a few more years when its use would be cheaper and widely accessible.

Biogas is a safe substitution in future to using of methane, I deeply believe.

But to answer your question , yet biogas use is not so wide-spread, so that it could entirely substitute all other fuel. Thus, as I said we need to wait.

And there would be one day when It would be one of the main fuel sources, however not the only one to exist.

I think solar energy is also a solution for the better future.
