d) manufacture of sucrose by sugar cane and sugar beets.

whew i took AP Bio and this is like the only thing i remember, the answer def is a or c so that leaves b and d.

i have no idea about b, but i think d is the answer. sucrose is a type of sugar just like glucose. so i would go with d. see if anyone else says d tho cos im like 50/50
