  2. well, I'd like to help, only if you'd accept my help in any form.XD

Dunno, I'm not Australian, but Biology is my best subject. I have no idea where (what topic) you are right now, though, so I'll try my best as I can.

So, just study about ANATOMY-the systems of the body, etc. (Hint: Skin has a system. It's called Integumentary System..:P) Also study about the BOTANY-plants-photosynthesis, respiration, etc. Also study about CELL DIVISION-mitosis and miosis. (Hint: the difference in mitosis and miosis is that mitosis involves body cells, while miosis involves reproductive cells.) Also study about CELLS (lol cells and cell division-that's different.) In cells-the cell theory, the three major parts of the cells (cell membrane, protoplasm, nucleus) and the minor parts (Hint: A plant cell has a cell wall and a cell membrane. An animal cell only has a cell membrane). Also the scientists involved in the discovery of cells (Robert Hooke, Matthias Schledien, Rudolph Virchow (or Rudolf, I forgot which spelling is correct), Theodore Schwann, Jan Evangelista Purkinje, Felix Dujardin, Antoine Van Lueewenhoek(ahh!forgot the spelling), Robert Brown, etc.) And the cell environment, and all that.

In these areas you only need to memorize. What I do for memorizing is just understanding the meanings (I really mean, understand. It'll stick to your brain once you did.) Once you've understood it one by one, you will be able to connect and relate it all together, and biology will be easier for you. If you don't feel like memorizing and understanding, just try to have a few keywords or clues to the terms.

Also, GENETICS. This part is very tricky, I didn't get it at first, but then I slowly managed to get by, and then I finally understood it. I don't exactly have any tips for genetics (because it doesn't exactly need memorizing, does it?) but if they allowed you a scratch paper or something in the exam (or anywhere where you can legally write on), use it. Remember the patterns. Make sure your head is clear and just keep on concentrating. Don't ever let anything distract yourself. Genetics is really just counting.

And, well, if you don't really feel like doing ALL these...the least you can do is to study enough to get by, without completely racking your brain-so as not to sit like a dummy when the exam is in front of you. Give the minimum required effort, and even if you don't get a high score--at least you'll be salvaging a subject that otherwise could have been a real nightmare.

    And DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE.

Double double good luck! I'm crossing my fingers!

And sorry if this won't help your or anything-I'm from Philippines and I don't really know what's up with Australia.
