  1. Sorry, but I took biology last year, which means I don't remember any of this stuff.  If only you had asked me then - I got a 100 on the Regents Exam.

  2. a cell divides after Cyclin initiates the cell cycle in interphase.

    Interphase= synthesis 1, gp, synthesis2

    mitosis= prophase, metaphase, telophase, cytokinesis

    prophase=nuclear membrane disintegrates, centrioles move to sides (by this time chromosomes are formed)

    metaphase=chromosomes move to the center single file line

    telo phase= duplication of organelles has occured, and splitting has started, reconstruction of nuclear envelope

    cytokinesis=complete split of cells

    genetics

    dna involves sugar phosphate backbone and pyrimidine+purines

    protein synthesis= helicase uncoils dna and dna polymerase initiates the duplication of anticodons.

    transcription involves dna-> rna

    translation involes a mrna strip at a ribosome and the transportation of trna and an amino acid for the corresponding anticodon.

    as much as i had time for...
