  1. I think the answer is D. A codon consists of 3 nucleotide sequence on mRNA and may code for the same amino acid as another codon. If my answer is wrong, please correct it. Hope this helps. =)

  2. Aww! What a disappointment. I came rushing in ready to make fun of another illiterate who couldn't spell 'condom'. I hope you're happy for ruining my day!

  3. i also thought this was about condom's, and therefore have NO answer for you,  What is a condon?  Something scientists named before the popularity of the condom?  Even yahoo thinks this is misspelled.

  4. I believe D, codons are a three nucleotide sequence of mRNA and there are several different codons that can code for the same amino acid that are used to build protein.  However, there are certain amino acids that have only one codon such as methionine (useless information, I know).

Note: I don't entirely understand what C is getting at.  Therefore, the answer may be E if C is a correct statement and I just don't know it.

  5. D) A and B are true

Hey Amanda,  It's codon(s) not condon(s).  Hope that helps... ;-)

  6. D) A and B are true
