Question

*design a lab to measure the amount of oxygen consumed by a mouse over a 5 minute period at different temperatures(0*C,18*C,25*C)

*would more oxygen be consumed at a higher temp. or lower for a mammal

dont know about the first part caz i havent done anything like that in class before. but we have talked about the second part, more oxygen will be consumed at a higher temp for a mammal.

at higher temperatures the animal is doing more activity requiring more energy for all the particles to be bouncing around while in lower temperatures one hibernates and goes to doin less, plus at the lower temperatures the air molecules are more clumped together therefore giving more oxygen to the rat
