Ok hello, this is actually my first time asking a question on yahoo answer's i've seen that ton's of people gotten questions asked that were needed.and i had a couple of questions that i could not find on google or on wikipedia, i'd really appreciate if i could get some help.

I was wondering what are some of the Largest and Smallest Angiosperms. like about 3 of each i can't find out any..

what are some ways stems are used other than food... i could only think of medicine. but i cant think of any more im trying to get around to having around 5 reasons

  1. Certainly the redwood tree is the largest angiosperm.  Think of any big tree (oak, cottonwood, etc).  The smallest I can think of is duckweed.

    Stems (think tree trunks) are source of wood for building and fuel.  They can also be a source of fiber (flax).  Sugarcane stores much of its sugar in the stem.  Grass species may be a source for ethanol production in the future.  In this case carbohydrates in the stems would be converted to fuel.
