  1. Food Enters the mouth. Heads down the espophagus. The muscles push the food down into the stomach. Through small intestine, then large where the nutrients are picked out and given to the cirruclatory system.

Don't know if that is right. I can't quite remember what the peristalsis is or the gall bladder.

  2. Sorry. Please do your own homework.

  3. Digestion begins in the mouth.

When you take a bit out of pizza, the salivary glands began to break down the starches.

The food travels down the esophagus.

The muscles in the the esophagus contract to push the food down into the stomach through a process called peristalisis.

In the stomach, acids are released to continue the break down of food.

The gall bladder releases bile to help digest the fats in pizza.

The food then travels through the small intestines where more nutrients are absorbed before it passes through the large intestine.

In the large intestine, water is absorbed.

The cardiovascular system makes use of some of the nutrients and vitamis that are released from digestion.
