  1. The urey miller experiment showed that a bunch of abiotic chemicals (such as ammonia, water and other stuff) which were around in the primitive atmosphere could spontaneously form compounds and structures (like lipid membranes) in a reducing environment. This basically showed that the building blocks of cells could be produced from non-living things, and life didn't need to be imported from space or rely on mythological beings to form.

  2. Urey and Miller made 2 amino acids in a controlled environment. The Conjectures since then have been that this proves chemical evolution!!!!

    Not so however....

This proves that under controlled conditions and with a certain starting point some amino acids can be made.ie if I can make iron ore this doesn't by any stretch of the unbias imagination mean that I have proven that a car can be made from it without human design and input.

Someone needs to point out the fact that chemicals go down the chemical scale. To believe in chemical evolution you have to Believe that chemicals go up the chemical scale (Not science). It’s also Not science that we evolved from rain on rocks and lightning, DNA doesn’t come from rocks. Its Philosophy. We forget that we need a complex design found in DNA to produce even a single cell, which is more complicated in design than the space shuttle.

Real science is the Urey miller experiment. However the conclusions reached are Conjectures and Postulates. And these of course are tainted by people’s biases and philosophical paradigms.

I believe that we can make some amino acids, no problem.

    It’s a scientific experiment.

You need to keep in mind the difference between facts, and people’s conclusions about facts.

Sometimes they can be so extreme its hard to think of them as objective at all.
