Which degree is better and why?

I don't know whether to do the master in Biomedical science or be a nurse.

  1. First off, what do you mean by Biomedical Scientist. I have worked in a hospital for 25 yrs, both laboratory and nursing....in the lab, there are Medical Technologists....BS in bio or chemisty, plus one year training as a medical technologist.

    Nursing will generally pay more money (at least in a hospital). If you work for a pharmaceutical company or some research company, perhaps the pay would be higher for a science major.

    Working as a nurse can be very much involved with people, whereas working as a medical technologist mostly involves machines. In my experience, this is what it comes down to when choosing between the two.
