  1. Hey man, whats up. I am in Biomedical Engineering myself,  and what i did was i applied directly into the program. Some schools should have that. But if they dont, remember that this is ENGINEERING, and so you need to take lots of physics and chemistry classes, as well as biology (abviosuly). Here is my schedule that all engineering major had to take their first semister in college: University Physics I, Introductory Physics Lab, General Chemistry I, General Chemistry Lab , Calculus I, Computer Programming, English Composition. AND thats pretty much it for the 1st semister. For the second semister, we would take the same classes but at the next level. For example:  University Physics II, Into Physics Lab II, Gen. Chem. II, General Chem Lab II, Calculus II , and Comp. Prog. II. ..... ANyways that was my 1st year in college as a bio-med engineering student.

For a B.S in bio-med, it should take approx 4- 5 years. It only depends on how well you work, and how much you spend time on it. My friend finished it in 3 years, but that was because continued to take classes over the summer and winter sessions ( these are when college is out of session).

Oh and one other this, NO, you should know the answer to any of these, I didnt. You only learn when you experience it first-hand.

stick in there and good luck with your studies,

    ME!! LoL
