Bios recovery Asus motherboard P4V8X_X

when I started my pc i got the message " bad bios checksum. starting bios recovery. as I no longer have my Asus P4V8X-X support cd. I went to the asus website and downloaded the latest bios for this board but when i put The disc into the pc i get the message reading file P4V8X-X.rom then P4V8X-X not found. what am i doing wrong
