What is the best bipod for my browning a-bolt in the 270. win and a 300 wsm

  1. The best manufacturer id say is Harris. They're a little pricey but you notice the difference in quality over others like Shooters ridge.

    As for length, that depends on where you hunt. If you're on open ground and want to shoot prone 9"-13" is what you want. If you're going to be on rough terrain you'll want 13"-23" for sitting shots to get you over any obstructions.

    For what it's worth, i've got a 9"-13" on a Tikka T3 .308 and i generally only use it at the range. When i go out in the field i almost always take it off as i find that it overbalances the front end making offhand shots a pain. I just use my pack or some other improvised support if i need it.
