I have really bad anger and anxiety, and lots of people have said I may be bipolar. I'm not really close enough to tell my parents and I wouldn't even consider that option. I want to find some alternative medicine that a 14 year old can buy from a shop like Holland and Barratt, Ceres,etc..

Does anyone know what there is available?

Thanks ox

  1. Try eating a general, balanced diet. That will give your body and brain the nutritional support it needs. Include some fish oil.

Before jumping to the conclusion of being bipolar, consider the simpler explanations, like it's hormones of a teenager, reaction to being in a time of status change between childhood and adulthood, not really fitting into either.

It used to be that bipolar could not be diagnosed in anyone under 18. The notion of "early onset bipolar" is only a few years old, and was quite controversial at first.

Once you are labeled, it's very difficult to get un-labeled and you may have some possibilities in life taken away, as well as it shortened by as much as 25 years!  http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2007...

  2. Please don't listen to the opinions of others.  You have anger and anxiety in you because you feel not heard and not noticed or because someone has told you or implied to you you are bad or not good enough. When animals feel threatened they get very aggressive and anxious too.  It is normal.  Could you talk to a school counsellor? Or to a trusted youth worker?  Or to an aunt or uncle?  Or there's childline?  I don't know the number.  Alternatively, search on the internet for homeopathy and  remedy for anger and anxiety.  You can usually buy these at good health stores. My site is www.openmindtherapy.co.uk - you might find something there.

  3. a diagnosis from 14 year old friends is always pretty reliable I find

  4. Having anger and anxiety does not necessarily mean that you have bipolar disorder.  However, an alternative treatment you can check out for free is Emotional Freedom Technique.  Start at www.emofree.com, the website of Gary Craig, the man who created EFT.

    Good luck.

  5. find some good friends.

sounds like you just want some drugs to be honest.

  6. try doing a complete detox. stay away from sugar and processed foods. try these product protein[amino acids] ,vitamin B-complex,,the main freindly bacteria that is used to make yogurt and total [omega3-6-9] and always think positive no matter what the situation is.

  7. get ur hands on some marijuana, but take it in small doses!!!!!  it works differently on different ppl. but it will mellow u out + u will see things in a new perspective that wont make u as angry. and ur parents wont need to know anyways haha

dont do drugs, only do natural god given things

  8. your body maybe to way to acidic and you need to neutralize it by eating green  vegetables, small amounts of protein and avoid all process food and sugar and in matter of a few weeks  you will feel great... i know because i was in your situation before and someone recommended this to me and it worked like a charm you just need devotion to this diet.

    best of luck

  9. Your best bet is to stay natural and legal with herbal remedies like Kratom. It functions like an opiate, delivering quick stress and anxiety relief. The effects are almost immediate-it should work 5-10 minutes after an oral dose (taken as an extract, of course). Online shaman shops like I Am Shaman and Bouncing Bear Botanicals usually sell it at least in leaf form. Don't worry, it's non-addictive, so you won't go through withdraw. To learn the basics on it (side effects, what you can and should monitor taking with it, etc.), check out Erowid. By the way, Erowid is an excellent site that houses knowledge on herbal and pharmaceutical drugs, their effects, chemical constructions, case reports of people who already tried the substances, and more.

I'd love to tell you to use marijuana or psilocybin mushrooms, but they have issues with legality. They really do the best job at stabilizing your emotions and physical symptoms. Unfortunately, that's something the doctors can't tell you, but certainly hint at. I know based off of my research, case reports of friends, family, and aquaintances, and personal family crisis sort of what you're goioing through. My husband suffers from high anxiety and explosive rage. We have struggled for years to find healthy coping strategies, but cannabis has helped the most. He's been through two hospital stays, therapy, has had three psychiatrists, tried the pharmaceutical route, and still it goes back to just taking a good hit of greens.

Once again, I'm not encouraging drug addiction, just making some suggestions. Whatever you decide to use just stay healthy, research your medication prior to usage, and only take prescribed meds if nothing else is really working. Most prescriptions are experimental, meaning that they haven't been around that long and usually have serious probable side effects. The anti-psychotics are scary and take the life out of their users.

Also, have you considered art, music, or meditation for self-prescribed therapy? Once you discover what angers you or drives your pulse up, you can start developing coping strategies like deep breathing or removing those things from your life that causes you to react that way.

  10. Ive been on every med there is for depression anxiety and ..the anger that comes from depression not expressed...I will tell you they s***w you UP!!! Smoke weed ..it really is a helpful remedy
