Bipolar Relationships?

Question

have you ever dated someone with the bipolar disease? what type of relationship did you have? were you abused by him/her? how did it end/are you still together? did/does this person have any negative affects on you?

I was engaged to a guy, but I'm the Bipolar one. It was really hard for him to deal with me because from one minute to the next I was a different person. He ended the relationship because it was too much for him. He also wanted to have kids and I don't because I don't want to pass this on and I couldn't take care of another life being the way I am. I still regret putting him through seeing me come to his house one day totally fine and the next day I'd go there and have cuts all over my body. Hope that sheds some light on it for you.
