  1. you should get an amazon i have one  nice birds and there smart two

  2. Why does it have to be a big bird???? Do you realize the bigger they are, the more potential for behaviours. The larger birds are NOT easy to care for.

Research the bird you're interested in first for diet, care, behaviours, sicknesses etc...

Killing you will depend on how you handle the bird. If the bird, regardless of size or species does not like you or the way you handle it, then it will react with aggression. Birds learn their behaviours from their owners too so if you want a nice friendly parrot, do loads of research on the correct ways to train your parrot. If you have no intention of giving the bird much attention then don't expect it to like you either.

Cockatoos may be friendly & cuddly but they bond to one person, what will happen if that person happens to be someone else & not you? Cockatoos are extremely loud too.

I don't recommend you get an eclectus. If you choose an eclectus then be prepared to make 3 meals a day for the bird since they cannot live on seed & pellets. As well as other reasons not to get an eclectus

And if you are experienced like you say you are, then what's with this comment?

"aint going to kill me and has to be a good bird"

any experienced person knows you don't just get a nice bird that doesn't bite & is a good bird.....an experienced person would know that you would have to train the bird to be like this & the way you train the bird will depend on whether the bird ends up biting you or liking you...

  3. If this is your first bird I would not suggest a large bird. You should start out with a small one and learn more about being a bird owner.

  4. cockatoo they learn how to talk and are pretty

  5. soloman island eclectus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclectus_Pa...

  6. I would suggest a green cheeked conure or a quaker parrot. They can live well into their 30's

  7. You're weird.

  8. I would suggest a cockatoo because they look nice and the can learn to talk. I also suggest an eclectus because they are a little bit smarter than a cockatoo and cheaper also they look nice too.

  9. Ostrich!
