I recently Bought a "Squirrel Be Gone" Bird Feeder yesterday and I don't know where to put it. Most of my trees don't have branches. Well they are really high. If i try putting the Bird Feeder On a nail ( it already has a string) It leans against the tree and 1/4 of the feeder is covered. I already filled it up and its in my garage waiting fort birds to come so I need help ASAP. I cant but the bird feed back inside the bag because the Feed comes out through holes and makes a big mess. I really want birds to come because they always come looking for food so I need help. Just Remember....10 points!

  1. What we do for our humming bird feeders is we hang them on a metal rod that sticks in the ground.

  2. Try tying it to a tree with some thin rope. Maybe stand on a ladder and get it up high

  3. Try getting a pole or a Sheppard's Hook Plant hanger.

  4. What you can do is get a bird feeder holder. You can get them at Wall-Mart and Target. You can also get other bird feeders.

  5. Not sure of the trees you have but try running a wire from one tree to another and hang the feeder in the center of the wire, less chance of the squirrels getting at it or other animals pulling it down. Avoid sunflower seeds if possible...the squirrels love them.
