Bird bent a feather, what to do?

Hello, my cockatiel flew off of my hand and when he landed I noticed that he had hit a feather in his wing. It was a blood feather but it only bled a little bit and stopped very quickly so I didnt feel the need to pull it out. My bird is fine but it seems that the feather might be bothering him because every so often he opens up his wing and closes it, repeating the action 5 times or so. Was just wondering what I should do. Should I just leave it like it is until it is time to moult and it will fall out anyway, or should I have it taken out? Thank you for your time and your replies.

  1. I've had this problem a million times with my cockatiels. Its most likely hurting him not just bothering him, so yes pull it out.
