This cage is PERFECT for 2 parakeets and it holds up really good too. It even keeps the seed hulls inside! (If you get it, MAKE SURE you choose the Medium sized one)

  2. It would be best if you can get one at least 24 in by 24 in.  Specially with two budgies.  It doesn't matter how high it is as they need space to fly back and forth.

Don't forget to get them a few toys also!  You can make some inexpensive toys with some cotton rope and a few beeds.  It is also good to give them romaine lettuce and attach it to the side of the cage.  Wet it first !
