I try to not be to pessimistic about things. When I was growing up here was a fear of global destruction due to nuclear weapons, then the ozone disappearing, then there was the global warming and flooding. Then there was the global pandemic of bird flu. None of these have happened (yet), however to my biologically filtered air post apocalypse nuclear bunker (relocated to the top of a hill in case of flooding) I have now added a fuel dump next to the sunscreen shed. I could tell you where in Charnwood Forest it is located, but I don't really want to.

  1. We're all gonna die!!!

When I was a kid they were screaming about global cooling and said that by now the whole world would be frozen. My ice skates are a little rusty now. Turns out I didn't need them...

  2. You've forgotten the heterosexual AIDS scourge of the world.

Don't forget your case (or two) of condoms.

Actually my money is on world riots because we are taking the food products we grow and are putting them in our cars.

  3. All have happened somewhere in the world already.
