Bird jealousy help!?

i just got this baby macaw and since its been here my african grey has started bitting and is acting so weird. He is really close to me cause i feed him and actually raised him. He never ever bit me and he doesnt even want to come to me. Can any one help with suggestions in how to get him bac like he was before. Thx.

  1. try slow steps on getting his trust back. give him treats, just spoil him and let him know he is still very much loved. he is probabaly not sure of this new bird in your home and only wants your attention. by the way where did you get the baby macaw ive been looking for places to get healthy babies like that. email if you'd like ali.marvin@yahoo.com


  2. it might be because you may have changed something you fed him or played with him. try changing it back

  3. birds are very jealous. i had to give away my amazon because he was trying to bite my new baby. you belong to them and no one else is invited.

    once the macaw gets big, the grey will get used to it.

    or you can give the macaw to me lol
