Bird stuck in my chimney?

ive got a bird stuck in my chimney,who do i call,its getting very distressed.

can call wildlife rehabber they can refer you to as who and where to call.

Depends on how far you want to go to get it out and the type of chimney. The RSPCA is the first to call. They may get it out easily, but if not, they may call the fire brigade. If they are determined enough, they might break into the chimney if all else failed. It could then be expensive. Alternatively, you could, as some are suggesting, kill it off by smoking it. If you do, the quicker the better. Unfortunately, that's life.

if you have a gas fire you could try ringing the gas company and asking them ? its not that complicated really, just a case of unscrewing it from the wall and moving it a little bit so he can get out,

if you do that, dont move it to much, just enough to get your hand it et.c.

because there is a gas pipe that might fracture if you pull to hard!

its probably a baby! if it is a baby it wont be able to go back to mammy cause she wont care anymore, so youll have to bring it up!

lol this happened to us we have an opening in the wall where a fire used to be we just got him out and let him in the garden now we have a proper fireplce  there so if a birdie got stuck it would melt if it was winter i guess u should calll rspca or something a pet control thing

do you have an open fireplace? it will come out on its own. I had one behind my fitted fireplace and it came out through a tiny gap and then flew through the house into the kitchen window...haha.
