Birdcages..?

I have a birdcage that is approx. 17by 17by 17 (height-width-depth) do you think thats large enough for two canaries....

comfortably?

also where might I get a HORIZONTAL cage ,it seems they are mostly vertical ,like mine.

  1. To find a horizontal cage, look for cages advertised as "flight" cages. 17x17 is not very big for two birds who are probably not very interested in being handled and going around with you. To make them very comfortable and happier, you're probably going to want something bigger. I went on eBay and got a really good deal on an 18x30 finch flight cage that would probably be a great, spacious home for your little guys. If you keep an eye out for bargains, including those weird ones where the bid price is one cent and the cage cost is part of the shipping, you should be able to get one that size for about 40 dollars.
