Birdie Help?

I have a Baby Budgie it has just been born (i have its mother and father) will the mother and father feed it for a while but then wat do i do ??

i am really unsure of what to do, what to feed and is there any special stuff i need

  1. Well, my dad has canaries, so I'm not sure if it's the same. But the parents should feed the babies until they leave the nest. The parents will continue to feed for a little while after that, but they become self sufficient very early on.

    If the parents don't feed it, you will probably have to feed it yourself. What my dad does in this case is chew something like almonds and spit it back out so the baby can eat it. You can also try peanut butter if you're not comfortable with that.


  2. dont touch it if you do before they start to leave the nest the parents wont feed it anymore and then you would have to feed it every two hours 24/7 untill it eats on its own but other than that the parents feed the babys untill they leave the nest
