Birds, please help?

Question

is it possible to attract birds by tape recording thier call and then playing it to attract birds to that spot? Please help, i need some pictures of them and i dont know where to start.

With some species of bird it may be possible, if the quality is good enough and there is reason for the bird to seek out another of it's species (IE Mating season).

If you want an easy way to attract birds, you can try adding bird feeders as well as a bird bath to your back yard.

Try a bird feeder..this will get them sitting still in one place for an extended period of time.  It is not good to play recordings during the breeding season (now) because this can call birds off their nests and cause eggs to die.  You can also just birdwatch very quietly and if you sit still  in one spot long enough...birds will approach you.
