Are there any birds that have a particular affiliation to olives?

  1. Having lived for a number of years in southern Spain with some olive trees in our garden I did notice a lot of birds around the place but they seemed to use all the trees equally. In the big olive groves there were definitely less birds because the trees were sprayed against insect pests so there was little attract them. some old olive trees develop holes in their trunks and these holes are often used by **** and other hole nesting birds.
