Birkenstock scandal?

I was wondering whether it would be cheaper to purchase a pair of Birkenstock scandal in Paris as there's a summer sale going on right now or to buy it in Munich when I go over for the Oktoberfest in October. Please advise, currently, in Paris a pair would cost about 60 euro after discount. Please advise. thanks

For Birkenstock sandals go to their international site and download a catalogue with a complete new 2008 range, select the model you like, and place an inquiry online:

Logic tells me that they would be cheaper now they're on summer sale than in October, regardless of the place, simply because in October you won't have a wide selection of sandals, they will mainly be having slippers and clogs.
