  1. You can also get quite close to the end of the runway to watch planes taking off and landing from the corner of Long Stay car park 1.  Use this car park anyway and take the transfer coach to the terminals as the short stay car park close to the terminals is very expensive.

  2. Its free :)

Just take a walk around there and find a good spot,

    Have Fun :)

  3. I would advise that you go by bus or train as parking can be quite expensive.

    Aviation Experience and Gift Centre

3rd Floor, Terminal 1 (Main Terminal)

Accessed externally from the ground floor and internally from the 1st floor.

    Opening Hours:

    09:00 to 19:00 daily

Entry for Adults £1.00, Children and Concessions 50p

Attractions include: Bookshop, Refreshments, Interactive Displays, Viewing Area and Amusement Area

    Enjoy x

  4. Just do not park your car there. I spent 14 Pounds on parking last month when I took my niece to the airport.

  5. A great day out, but take your own  refreshments, otherwise the cost will ruin your day

  6. get the train to Birmingham International and then the Mono-rail to the Airport.

There is a viewing terminal, but you might want to take your own food and drinks. If you get a good weekend try to take in an event at the NEC which you neice & Nephew might like, like the outodoor show or CRUFTS.
