Birmingham got a last gasp draw at the weekend thanks to a goal from left back Liam Ridgewell, but Blues require more going forward if they are to hold on to their top half position in the table. They are currently averaging less than a goal a game, and need to snap up a forward in the closing hours of the transfer window, even though a move for Roman Pavlyuchenko looks doomed.
