Birmingham on verge of club record signing

Birmingham City are close to completing an £11 million deal for Argentinian striker Mauro Boselli. The 24-year-old’s fee eclipses the £9 million that boss Alex McLeish spent on Christian Benitez in the summer. Estudientes forward Boselli has spoken about the move, saying “I want to go to England and play for Birmingham. I love English football and I think the Premiership is the best league in the world. My contract with Birmingham is almost ready. There are some little details left, that's all. I hope everything finishes well to suit me and Birmingham."
