Birth certificate for newborn - GA - Hospital confirmation letter lost?

My daughter was born on 18th June 2008 in Northside hospital, Atlanta, GA. I have filled the form in the hospital to apply for birth certificate. Last week the hospital sent me a confirmation letter which they asked to send to the vital records office to procure the birth certificate. But I lost that confirmation letter. I am assuming the hospital applies to the vital records office directly.

What should I do? Shall I directly contact the vital records office? Anyone having this info? Thanks a lot!!

There should be a copy, or at the very least documentation, in the baby's medical record.

Contact the hospital for the records.
