  1. What county were you born in?

Well, I've found this pdf site that contains an application. It would appear though that you will have to contact them as this is only for requesting certificates in the first 6 months. It depends on where you were born if they have a site where you can do online orders. However, even online orders will require postal information sent to them to prove you are indeed who you say you are. They usually give you 5 days to submit a copy of your drivers license before they cancel your online request.

It would appear that Marion county does not have this service.

You should call them at 503-731-4108 to request the proper application as stated on the above form.

  2. There is no web site for birth certificates in Salem, Oregon; but, there is a site for the State of Oregon. The cost of a birth certificate from the State of Oregon is $20.

I did find a web site that offers on-line birth certificate for Oregon; but, the cost is 19.99; and you will probably be inundated with junk email if you use that site.

Contact the site for the State of Oregon. They might be able to do something for you online--even though I don't understand why you have to have this document transmitted on line.
