Question:

Birth control, no condom. . . uh oh?

I am on birth control pills. I take them at the exact same time every night and have been on them since April. My boyfriend and I always use a condom along with the pills but last night he didn't have one. I asked if he pulled out and he said "not all the way." So I guess he finished inside me for the most part. What are my chances of getting preganant? Should I get the morning after pill? Am I just overreacting?

  1. Pills are ONLY 99 per cent effective when used as directed and prescribed.

ANY TIME you have s*x, protected or not, you can get pregnant.

The ONLY 100 per cent effective method is abstinence.

  2. Yeah, you're overreacting. The birth control is the surest way not to get pregnant. The condom, while protecting against pregnancy (not as sure as the pill) is best for protection against STDs. So if it's pregnancy you're worried about, relax.

  3. Hunny, that's what birth control is for.. to enjoy the satisfaction of a guy doing that. Yeah, It's always more safe to use another way of contraception but you'll be fine. Don't stress over it or it's going to hold your period off more. Me and my boyfriend have s*x all the time and he finishes inside me, nothings happened. THERE IS always that little chance of you getting pregnant [like 2%] but it's unlikely you are! Don't worry about it!

  4. I wouldn't worry that much about getting pregnant, but more about getting a STD. Next time wait until he gets a condom.

  5. If you are taking the birth control pills properly (which you have stated that you are) then they are over 99% effective. You are not pregnant, so don't lose any sleep over it. Go out, you deserve an ice cream...don't ask...I just really want an ice cream right now....

  6. Nah, don't stress it. You have been protected by the pill long enough. =)
