Birth control and conception question?

Question

I was just wondering what would happen if a girl got pregnant at the beginning of a new pack, and continued to take the rest of the month's pills because she didn't realize she was pregnant. Would the baby be affected or is it too young for anything to happen?

p.s. this has nothing to do with me, I'm not pregnant lol. The question popped into my head so I figured I'd throw it out there.

Well, see, the pills make your body think you're pregnant. But, if you really are, you could have a baby with birth defects, miscarriage, or nothing at all. It just depends. Nothing is certain. It's just a risk like anything else.
