So i'm almost done with my first pack of birth control pills. The next pill i take is an "inactive" one. Does that mean that i'll start my period EXACTLY when i start taking the inactive pills? and will it stop when i start taking the active ones again?

  1. Typically yes, however it wont be the minute you take it. If the chemistry in your body is good, you should see some spotting within 24-48 hrs. good luck.

  2. No it might take a day or two for your period to start. The period will probably be pretty short and might even stop before you start taking your active pills again.

  3. it will start on your 2nd or 3rd inactive pill.

it should stop 1 to 2 days after you start taking active pills again.

  4. it won't be exactly when you start and stop, it varies, for example:

I usually start on the thursday of the inactive pill week, and then stop around monday or tuesday of the following week.

    everyone is different.

  5. When I started the inactive pill, sometimes it would take until the 2nd or 3rd pill for me to start, and it stopped with the 1st or 2nd active pill.
