I'm on the pill.

I finish the pack on Saturdays but I don't get my period until Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Is this normal? and Most Importantly, Is it possible to get pregnant from Saturday when I end one pack, to the time that I start the next pack on Sunday??

  1. That's perfectly normal.  And as long as you're taking your pills correctly you are protected every time of the month, during the active and inactive pills.

  2. Yes, that's normal.  It takes a couple of days for the residual hormones from the pills you took at the end of the pack to decrease enough for your period to start.

As long as you follow the directions for finishing and starting a pack - you only take one week off, and you're not using one of the packs with placebo pills (you can tell if you are because there are enough pills for four weeks, not three) - you should be protected the entire time.

  3. yes its normal..not everyone get their periods during the inactive week..i usually start whenever i finish my inactive pills and start on my active pills

  4. i dont think so
