Birth control pills went through the washing machine, should I still take them?

I left my package of birth control pills in my pants pocket and washed them. When I took the package out, it smelled soapy but when i popped a pill out of the foil, it looked fine.

But I don't want to get sick from it being soapy or anything, should I get a new package or continue taking these?

as long as they were in the foil i think they would be fine to take.

if not then dont take them!

No, just get some new ones. i wouldn't recommend taking the again but sthey could still be ok

If they were in the plastic/ foil container and tightly sealed, they should be fine.
