Birth control question...?

i was only on birth control for about 2 months. the first month off the pill my period was a few days later than my regular period...(that was last month.) now im waiting for this period to come. im over a week late. i took a test when i was exactly a week late, and it was negative. i have no pregnancy symptoms that i can notice yet. is it possible that my period is just trying to regulate itself... even though i was only on the pill for 2 months??? help.

Yes, this can still be related to your period trying to regulate itself because of being on the pill.  It can take the body 3 months to fully adjust to being on the medication.

I would also recommend letting your doctor know what's going on so that they can evaluate the situation further.
