  1. Ok i'll answer your questions one at a time. Having your hen night at the same time as your B-day seems a bad idea to me. Hen nights are for women so your hubby to be, dad and any other male relations won't be able to celebrate your birthday with you. I think for your bday next year have a relaxed family bbq or something. You will have so much to do with the wedding, planning a bday party will be really really stressful.

I don't think you are getting married too close to your birthday, i'm getting married on 26th July next year, my b-day is july 14th i just won't be doing an awful lot for it.

As for where, you have left it very, very late to book anywhere. honestly i don't think you will find the venue you want with this amount of notice. It depends on what sort of thing you want. I am getting married i n a hall because we both do not believe in God so a church is wrong for us and we wanted all our family around us when we get married so a beach wedding was out because some people couldn't afford it.

Good luck planning the wedding! Honestly though, i would be looking at 2010 to get the right venue. Don't comprimise your wedding just to do it as soon as you can.

  2. Are you seriously saying that you are getting married next july, and you havent booked your venue yet?  Some places that I know of have a waiting list of 2-3 years, and the posh places are longer.  Because of the July date, I would say if you havent a venue now, I hope you have a big garden and understanding neighbours.

  3. I did a 70's party for myself this year.  You can get everything from the wall mural to the party store.

Combine the two parties and just have one big blow out.

I got married in an hotel for fraction of the price.

  4. In all honesty I would try to pick a cooler month, not so close to your birthday, and have the wedding in a Church.

Outdoor weddings are beautiful but you always stand a chance of rain.

  5. a) my hen party and b-day party all in one, maybe a dinner with the guys before the girls go out so everyone can be there

    b) not at all.  It shouldn't matter but don't expect large bday and anniversary gifts

    c) on a beach is always my first choice but it depends on the price, location, and a rain back up

  6. get married in a beach adn have fun celebrate both together

  7. I know this will sound rude but you sound very immature. If this is your big problem then I don't think you should be getting married. You knew your birthday was in June before you planned your July wedding. This is NEXT year. Why not move the wedding to August or September or earlier in April or May if you are so concerned about it. Also I've never heard of a 25 year old planning their own birthday party. Seems odd and may indicate that you are a princess or bridezilla that loves attention. Get married whereever you and your fiance want to get married.

  8. Hi Sounds like a great opportunity, I say have fun with it! I like the hens party slash birthday idea and go with Mama Mia cause its new and never been done! If you wont my opinion I like a beach wedding but as always go with what feels right!
