Birthday Boy !?

Question

Its my boyfriends birthday tomorrow and we are going out to dinner to celabrate, he has invited six close friends along.

I thinking of organising a cake with all the trimmings and asking the waiter to bring it out after dinner. What do you think - its his 46th ???

A very good idea, especially if you can get his favorite. But I'd probably use just 1 candle instead of 46... ;)

that will be good.but why dont u just excuse urself frm the table, get the restaurant "ppl" to turn off all the lights. then u,just u, walk to ur bf  with his surprise bday cake (light the candles!) as evryone sings the happy bday song.

I would say thumbs up but..............I know that if it was me I would hate it. I would feel the weight of the other diners looking at me. I'm loud on the outside but shy on the inside. I would want the floor to open up and swallow me.

You know him better than any of us on here. You would know if he would be embarrassed or shy about this type of thing.

Up definitely. Pick his favorite kinda cake (vanilla, yellow, chocolate, red velvet, etc), decorate it to some theme he likes (a fave tv show, fave sports team, fave colors, etc), and pick icing he likes (the normal, really sugary, kind or whipped).

It depends on if your bf is shy. He may get embarrased by the gesture. If he is the type that doesn't get embarrased the sure go for it!
