Birthday Celebration in NYC?

HI All -

We are heading to NYC for a friends 30th birthday on July 4th and looking for restaurant with great food and trendy atmosphere. We really need suggestions. Also, we are then looking for a great night out at a trendy bar/club with a great scene.

Please let me know any suggestions as I need to make reservations this evening!

I am a little late but if you still are looking for suggestions try One - 1 little West 12th in the meat packing area.

Also Ono is next door and is a great sushi lounge

For the evening, Check out the Maritime hotel and go to Cabana which is a great rooftop bar.
